摘要: Background: Bilaterality in breast cancer is a rare event and together with an early onset of disease points towards inheritance the disease. However, most cases seem to occur sporadically, either synchronous or metachronous manner. Methods: Thirty two invasive carcinomas one situ carcinoma from 16 patients synchronous, bilateral were investigated by means comparative genomic hybridisation (CGH) polymerase chain reaction based multiplex microsatellite analysis. The results analysed conventionally also subjected biomathematical cluster analysis. Results: On average, showed low number genetic alterations, frequency amplifications, high rate chromosomal 16q losses. A distinct, characteristic alteration associated could not be found. Although tumour pairs appeared related using processing for analysis, this result was reproduced CGH data patient only. Conclusions: Most represent independent tumours rather than metastatic events. Nevertheless, possibility specific susceptibility remains.
