摘要: Overexpression of epithelial growth factor receptor (EGFR) is correlated with a poor prognosis and reduced steroid expression. Recently, it was demonstrated that the length CA repeat in the intron 1 EGFR correlated with expression EGFR in vitro. We investigated 112 cases cancerous and noncancerous breast tumor samples for loss heterozygosity (LOH) in intron egfr gene determined the intratumoral content genetic alterations by comparative genomic hybridization. Heterozygous tumors short repeats showed elevated contrast to longer CA repeats. Tumors LOH intron revealed higher when allele lost compared with loss shorter allele. Additionally, of the long showed more chromosomal alterations, especially a higher frequency amplifications. conclude repeat status also modulates vivo. Furthermore, at the associated genetically advanced tumors. Therefore, allele-specific due repeat could be assumed an important event invasive cancer development.
