摘要: Expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGF-r) is a frequent event in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). To investigate the role EGF-r gene copy number changes related to overexpression, 50 RCC specimens were examined by fluorescence situ hybridization (FISH) and immunohistochemistry. Dual-labelling FISH with repetitive pericentromeric probe for chromosome 7 (at 7p13) was performed analyse relation on cell-by-cell basis. Polysomy all histological types RCC. Chromosome polysomy found 26 35 clear (74 per cent), nine papillary, three chromophobe RCCs. closely associated No amplifications found. positivity 37 cases cent) more common (81 than papillary tumours (40 cent; P = 0.029). Neither nor expression, indicating that an increased dosage not mechanism overexpression
