摘要: EGFR is a member of the tyrosine kinase family cell surface receptors with wide range expression throughout development and in variety different types. The receptor can transmit signals to cells: i) upon interaction ligands such as EGF, TGFα, amphiregulin or heparin binding ii) truncation mutation extracellular and/or intracellular domains, iii) amplification basal activity (in absence ligand) through cooperation other cellular signaling pathways nuclear events (e.g. v-erbA). activated exert pleiotropic functions on cells, depending their tissue origin state differentiation. Under certain conditions it also contribute neoplasia metastases. Such exist aberrant receptor/ligand activation wrong cell; at time; amounts). Aberrant signalling occur constitutive activation.
