摘要: Abstract A431 cells have an amplification of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor gene, cellular homolog v-erb B oncogene, and overproduce aberrant 2.9-kilobase RNA that encodes a portion EGF receptor. A cDNA (pE15) for was cloned, sequenced, used to analyze genomic DNA blots from A431 normal cells. These data indicate is created by gene rearrangement within chromosome 7, resulting in fusion 5' unidentified region DNA. The sequences are amplified about same degree (20- 30-fold) as sequences. In situ hybridization chromosomes show both localized p14-p12 7. By using fragments probe mouse-A431 somatic cell hybrids, rearranged shown be associated with translocation M4.
