Crosslinked α,β-polyasparthydrazide hydrogels: effect of crosslinking degree and loading method on cytarabine release rate

摘要: α,β-Polyasparthydrazide (PAHy) was crosslinked by glutaraldehyde to form water-swellable polymers possessing a three dimensional molecular network. The glassy polymeric material loaded with cytarabine and shaped as micromatrices. drug incorporated both during crosslinking reaction dissolving it in the medium after soaking technique. polymer network structure characterized analysis, swelling measurements, scanning electron microscopy X-ray analysis. Biological trials have shown absence of toxicity subcutaneous implantation these materials laboratory animals. Drug release from micromatrices method takes place less than 4 h. On contrary, samples 40% 20 days.
