摘要: Coccoid green algae can be divided in two groups based on their cell wall structure. One group has a highly chemical resistant (HR-cell wall) containing algaenan. The other is more susceptible to chemicals (LR-cell - Low wall). Algaenan considered as important molecule explain resistance. Interestingly, types (LR- and HR-cell are not accordance with the taxonomic classes Chlorophyceae Trebouxiophyceae, which makes it even interesting consider ecological function. It was already shown that algaenan helps protect against virus, bacterial fungal attack, but this study we show for first time different properties sensitivity interference competition cyanobacterium Microcystis aeruginosa. Based previous work co-cultures of M. aeruginosa (Acutodesmus obliquus Oocystis marssonii) differing structure, could impair only growth if they belong LR-cell type. In biotic mechanism shows general pattern within coccoid species depending
