摘要: The effect of the anti-angiogenic agent TNP-470 on tumor growth, vascular area, density and perfusion two different subcutaneously implanted human glioma xenografts (E98 E106) in nude mice was evaluated. Vascular parameters were investigated with an image analysis system. For both lines a small but significant growth suppression observed. However, no differences between treated tumors controls could be found after 6 weeks treatment. It is concluded that although promising many types, at least 2 seem to partly resistant its effects. Further evaluation effects combination cytostatic agents or radiotherapy are required determine place therapy general treatment more specifically gliomas.
