摘要: Although modeling and experimental approaches to probe antimicrobial peptides-lipid membranes interaction have already been reported, quantitative evaluation of the whole process, including full dissolution lipid, is still missing. We report on real-time assessment entire set stages melittin-membrane interaction, based surface plasmon resonance (SPR) measurements, using supported lipid matrices L1 sensors long peptide injections. advance a mathematical model which comprises coupled kinetic equations relates via transfer matrix evolution concentrations with SPR sensorgram. Upon fitting sensorgrams melittin injections POPC matrices, in agreement literature data, provides: association dissociation rates, concentration thresholds, within each interacting layer as well ratios. The proposed combined appropriate protocols adds new depths investigation peptide-lipid offering platform for research controlled design improved peptides. A wider applicability other pore forming compounds different suggested.
