摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW: The development of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology has led to many advances in the areas directed differentiation and characterization. New methods for generating iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes provide an invaluable resource study certain cardiovascular disorders. This review highlights current this field, its application thus far genetic disorders RAS/MAPK pathway long-QT syndrome (LQTS), future directions field. RECENT FINDINGS: Enhanced increase efficiency stringently purifying cardiomyocytes. use derived from patients with LEOPARD LQTS shed light on molecular mechanisms disease validated their as reliable human models. SUMMARY: will enable a deeper more applicable understanding disease, well improving our ability achieve successful cell-based therapies.
