CBF Measured by Xe-CT: Approach to Analysis and Normal Values

摘要: Normal reference values and a practical approach to CBF analysis are needed for routine clinical interpretation of xenon-enhanced computed tomography (CT) studies. We measured in 67 normal individuals with the GE 9800 CT scanner adapted imaging stable Xe. vascular territories were systematically analyzed using clustering contiguous 2-cm circular regions interest (ROIs) placed within cortical mantle basal ganglia. Mixed flows averaged 51 ± 10 ml · 100 g−1 min−1. High low flow compartments, sampled by placing 5-mm ROIs containing highest lowest each hemisphere, 84 14 20 5 min−1, respectively. as well high compartment demonstrated significant decline age; however, there no age-related changes compartment.
