摘要: Silica monolithic capillaries (SMCs) were synthesized by a sol-gel process. First, simplification of the synthesis was proposed replacing calcination and drying steps which can have tremendous effects on chromatographic physical properties, single water or methanol 2 h washing step. The efficiency such step demonstrated comparison electrochromatographic properties between calcined washed SMCs has shown that modification did not impair retention, efficiency, stability monolith. This simplified procedure carried out to synthesize with two different skeleton sizes. These evaluated in electrochromatography present high efficiencies (H = 5 microm) at least equal best ones reported literature. Furthermore, influence size EOF second kind (EOF-2) investigated unmodified used under various experimental conditions including electrical field strength buffer concentration. ionic mobile phase applied enable this EOF-2 related tuned conditions.
