摘要: The circadian timing system is critically involved in the maintenance of fluid and electrolyte balance BP control. However, role peripheral clocks these homeostatic mechanisms remains unknown. We addressed this question a mouse model carrying conditional allele clock gene Bmal1 expressing Cre recombinase under endogenous Renin promoter (Bmal1(lox/lox)/Ren1(d)Cre mice). Analysis Bmal1(lox/lox)/Ren1(d)Cre mice showed that floxed was excised kidney. In kidney, BMAL1 protein expression absent renin-secreting granular cells juxtaglomerular apparatus collecting duct. A partial reduction observed medullary thick ascending limb. Functional analyses exhibited multiple abnormalities, including increased urine volume, changes rhythm urinary sodium excretion, GFR, significantly reduced plasma aldosterone levels. These were accompanied by BP. results show local renal control body homeostasis.
