摘要: Cholesterol is an important molecule; it necessary for the biosynthesis of steroidal hormones, bile salts and to maintain stability biological membranes in animal cells. However, its excess negative responsible development many diseases involving heart brain, or generation some types cancer. For these reasons, cellular cholesterol levels must be finely regulated therefore, infinite number mechanisms participate this regulation, which undertake organism as a whole. These should begin operate efficiently from intake diet, incorporation into enterocyte, where are involved carriers such ABC NCP1 transporters, PDZ structural motif, name few. It also adequate regulation circulating once inside body, there perfect harmony between addition various tissues, metabolic use, tissue deposition, synthesis lipid. From perspective, review offers general view molecular that allow extra intracellular levels.
