摘要: Abstract In situ injectable hydrogels have attracted much attention as adhesion barriers. this study, N-succinyl chitosan (CH-Su) were crosslinked with various polyvalent metal ions (Fe3+, Al3+, and Ca2+) developed for the prevention of peritoneal adhesions. CH-Su Fe3+ (CH-Su/Fe3+) or Al3+ (CH-Su/Al3+) indicated higher Young's modulus, longer degradation times, shorter gelation times compared those Ca2+ (CH-Su/Ca2+). addition, CH-Su/Fe3+ had modulus than CH-Su/Al3+ hydrogels, likely reflecting differences in stability constants between each ion. Although while CH-Su/Ca2+ not significantly cytotoxic cell viability assays, showed cytotoxicity controls, presumably due to release decreases pH. Consistent ion-dependent hydrogel properties above, highest anti-adhesive effects, decreased scores a rat model sidewall defect-bowel abrasion.
