摘要: Aims. This research examined the performance of a broad range measures posited to relate smoking craving. Design. Heavy smokers and tobacco chippers, who were either deprived or not for 7 hours, exposed both (a lit cigarette) control cues. Participants. Smokers currently interested in trying quit ( n = 127) recruited. 67) averaged at least 21 cigarettes/day chippers 60) 1-5 cigarettes on 2 days/week. Measurements. Measures included urge rating scales magnitude estimations, affective valence, behavioral choice task that assessed perceived reinforcement value smoking, several smoking-related judgement tasks measure cognitive resource allocation. Findings. Results indicated deprivation state smoker type tended affect responses across these measurement domains. Conclusions. Findings support use novel craving-related processes smokers.
