摘要: Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) are useful to reveal an between single nucleotide polymorphisms and different measures of obesity. A multitude new loci has recently been reported, but the exact function most according genes is not known. The aim our study was start elucidating some these genes. We performed expression analysis fourteen genes, namely BDNF, ETV5, FAIM2, FTO, GNPDA2, KCTD15, LYPLAL1, MCR4, MTCH2, NEGR1, NRXN3, TMEM18, SEC16B TFAP2B, via real-time RT-PCR in adipose tissue kidney capsule, mesenterium subcutaneum as well hypothalamus obese Zucker diabetic fatty (ZDF) lean (ZL) rats at age 22 weeks. All target except for showed highest hypothalamus. This suggests a critical role obesity-related central regulation energy balance. Interestingly, pattern no differences ZDF ZL rats. However, FAIM2 were significantly lower expressed fat than NEGR1 even subcutaneous mesenterial fat, while MTCH2 higher investigated obesity implies them balance, also itself. For development phenotype peripheral rather mechanisms seem be relevant.
