摘要: The TP53 gene (p53) is found altered in breast carcinomas approximately 20–40% of all cases depending on tumor size and stage the disease. It seems to be an early event tumorigenesis. Several polymorphisms have been detected their possible roles cancer risk association type developed are discussed. different mutation spectra seen geographical ethnic populations may used identify environmental exposure contributing development. role as a prognostic marker reviewed well its predictor for therapy response. All data available analyses human carcinomas, from transgenic animal studies experimental cell studies, support important mammary carcinogenesis. Hum Mutat 21:292–300, 2003. © 2003 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
