摘要: Abstract This paper presents a model for heterogeneous traffic at simple X and T-intersections of single lane two urban roads. Traffic the intersections is controlled by set lights, operated to one several fixed-time schemes. The consists both short (e.g. cars) long (buses/trucks or equivalent) vehicles modelled, using one-dimensional two-component cellular automaton. For intersections, we consider implications homogeneous flows, based on minimum space rule. longer vehicles, this implies occupation multiple road cells. distributions mix driver type are shown have significant effect intersection performance patterns flow. Example findings presented validation basis given, available, but limited, local Dublin field data.
