摘要: Abstract Here a new series of twenty-one organoselenides, potential protective activity, were synthesized and tested for their intrinsic cytotoxicity, anti-apoptotic antioxidant capacities in oligodendrocytes. Most the organoselenides able to decrease ROS levels, revealing properties. Compounds 5b 7b showed high glutathione peroxidase (GPx)-like activities, which 1.5 folds more active than ebselen. Remarkably, compound 5a diminished formation oligodendrocytes SubG1 peak concentration-dependent manner, indicating its Furthermore, based on SwissADME web interface, we performed an in-silico structure-activity relationship explore drug-likeness these predicting pharmacokinetic parameters compounds interest that could cross blood-brain barrier. Collectively, present organoselenide with cytoprotective properties can be considered as promising drug candidates myelin diseases.
