摘要: A system, processor and method to monitor specific cache events behavior based on established principles of quantized architectural vulnerability factor (AVF) through the use a dynamic write policy controller. The output controller is then used set back or mode for any given cache. This can be change modes dynamically does not require system rebooted. nature provides capability intelligently switching from reliability performance as needed. eliminates residency time dirty lines in cache, which increases soft errors (SER) resiliency protected caches reduces detectable unrecoverable (DUE), while keeping implementation cost hardware at minimum.
