摘要: Incentive motivation theory ascribes a critical role to reward-associated stimuli in the generation and maintenance of goal-directed behavior. Repeated psychomotor stimulant treatment, addition producing sensitization psychomotor-activating effects, can enhance incentive salience cues increase their ability influence In present study, we sought investigate this effect further by developing model conditioned reinforcement (CR) mouse investigating effects sensitizing treatment regimen amphetamine on CR. Furthermore, assessed contextual amphetamine-induced potentiation We found that mice responded selectively lever resulting presentation cue previously associated with 30% condensed milk solution, indicating had attained rewarding properties. Prior (4 x 0.5 mg/kg i.p.) resulted enhanced subsequent responding for enhancement occurred independent drug-paired context, whereas sensitized locomotor response was only observed when were tested same environment as which they received previous amphetamine. These results demonstrate CR paradigm developed rat be successfully adapted use mouse, suggest behavioral increases properties (incentive salience) reward-paired cues, context.
