摘要: Abstract We have identified a Japanese patient with adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) whose T cells in vitro produced the human virus (HTLV). This presented lymphomatous arthritis and subsequently developed skin lesions. Skin invasion by malignant T-cells was angiocentric vessel wall destruction, resulting necrotic cutaneous tumor nodules. Malignant peripheral blood, skin, joint prior to culture did not express p19 HTLV-associated antigen. However, electron microscopy, intracellular type C viral particles were seen skin-infiltrating cells. Peripheral blood after 7 days growth factor-supplemented media expressed antigen, microscopy be budding from lymphocytes. Mitomycin-C-treated peripheral-blood induced transformation of cord into HTLV-infected p19+ The demonstration HTLV our confirms association leukemia. Moreover, may associated vasculitis-arthritis syndrome.
