Generation of a syngeneic orthotopic transplant model of prostate cancer metastasis

摘要: Progression to metastatic disease is the primary cause of mortality in men with prostate cancer (PCa). Mouse models which progress spontaneous metastasis are limited. Such would allow for extensive studies molecular mechanisms metastasis, and more definite pre- clinical therapy trials. Orthotopic murine have been described; however a limiting biology these their lack an intact immune system. Within, we describe development androgen sensitive castrate resistant tractable orthotopic syngeneic (immune competent) model cancer. Both develop tumors spontaneously lymph tissue. These will complete mechanistic therapeutic short time period.
