摘要: Our goal is to measure the gravitational constant G within 1-10 ppm using a high-finesse Fabry-Poptical cavity. The two high-reflectivity mirrors of Fabry-P ´ cavity will be suspended separately by nearly identical simple pendulums length about 1 m. For source attraction, we have built rotating mass with 12 lead bricks (each brick 11.5 kg) on each opposite sides table. period rotation can adjusted. We normally use 200 s. this mass, relative equilibrium displacement over 10 nm and are working for preliminary measurement distance one part in 4 . Auxiliary quantities such as positions test erot monitored real-time laser metrology. stability monitoring pendulums, building stability, compensation or averaging inhomogeneity need special considerations.
