摘要: The present study describes the effects of sow and/or piglet porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) vaccination on viraemia, antibody response and production parameters (average daily weight gain [ADWG] mortality) piglets from a PCV2 subclinically infected farm. Four hundred seventy-six born vaccinated (V) or non-vaccinated (NV) sows were further subdivided in total four groups: NV sows-NV pigs (NV-NV, n=134), sows-V (NV-V, n=135);V (V-NV, n=104) V (V-V, n=103). A single before mating was able to confer significantly higher titres their at 4 weeks age different dynamics infection compared coming sows. Piglet (independently treatment) caused an earlier seroconversion lower percentages ones throughout life. double strategy reduce but apparently some interference humoral development. overcome this since ADWG improved both groups piglets, independently treatment, being highest obtained group.
