摘要: With the aim of reducing costs attributed to substrate in production poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate—P(3HB-co-3HV), cultures were carried out with whey as substrate. Propionic acid, necessary for copolymer production, was fed using two different strategies: pH regulation and pulses. The influence these strategies on incorporation 3-hydroxyvalerate monomer Ralstoniaeutropha studied. pulse strategy allowed a accumulation 1.46 g 3.93 polymer accumulated, corresponding 37% polymer, yield 0.22 mol mol−1. During phase, maximum productivity 0.17 l−1 h−1. value obtained expressed 3HV, 0.014
