Analysis of wood bark use opportunities

摘要: Abstract The bark is very promising technological raw material and classic biorefinery object because of its unique barks biomass chemical composition possibility to get many different products with the added value individual or group compounds synergistic biological activity, materials produce various materials. Bark product market poorly developed treatment high requires investment, large amount time. However, this segment currently growing in Latvia Europe due restrictions on use synthetic products, “green” thinking growth renewable use. That why authors did research about wood opportunities, by analyzing which are at stage already being manufactured. Using multi-criteria analyze (MCA) determining main can be introduced Latvian market. Results showed that best two potentially should implemented tannin betulin, these not industrial produced Latvia.
