摘要: Background: To evaluate the accuracy of two rapid whole blood tests (the BM-Test Helicobacter pylori and QuikPac IV One Step H. Whole Blood Test), compare this to a conventional quantitative ELISA test (HEL-p TEST II). Methods:Helicobacter status in dyspeptic patients was assessed by culture, histology, urease on biopsies from antrum corpus. The optimal cut-off value reading time for determined using receiver characteristics operative (ROC) curves. Results: In 141 examined, 89 were infected, 51 not one indeterminate (only positive either or histology). Areas under ROC curves greater compared with (0.948 vs 0.840, P < 0.01), their most appropriate times at 360 395 min, respectively, rather than 10 min as suggested manufacturer. sensitivity specificity 94.4% 94.1% 74.2 96.1% BM-Test; 80.9, 76.5 3.4 100% IV. antibody titer negatively correlated reaction pylori-infected (P 0.05, r = –0.3). Conclusions: is an office-based diagnosing infection Chinese patients. Extending would facilitate readability resultant increase accuracy.
