摘要: Abstract We have identified, by TLC, the product from reaction between 5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid (5-MTHF) and β-phenylethylamine (βφEA) in rat brain extracts as methylene-β-phenylethylimine (MβφEI), a Schiff-base compound produced when formaldehyde, enzymatically formed 5-MTHF, condenses with amine.
