摘要: : Rabbit uteroglobin is the founder member of a family mammalian proteins that has expanded to more than 20 members within last few years. All are small, secretory, rarely glycosylated dimeric with unclear physiological functions and mainly expressed in mucosal tissues. A phylogenetic analysis shows can be grouped into five subfamilies, E. Subfamily contains rabbit its orthologues from various species; most these have been described form antiparallel homodimers via two intermolecular disulfide bonds. other subfamily contain third conserved cysteine and, existing biochemical data, it predicted B or C will likely heterodimers partner E D, respectively. Besides mentioned cysteines, only one central lysine all members. In known structures, this forms an exposed salt bridge aspartate side chain, which almost sequences. Using radiation hybrid mapping P1 clone utilizing data human genome project, we show (Clara cell 10-kDa protein, lipophilins B, lacryglobin, mammaglobin) new member, call lymphoglobin, localized on chromosome 11q12.2 dense cluster spanning not approximately 400 kbp.
