摘要: Abstract In order to determine syndecan-1 expression in lung cancer, we examined 115 cancer specimens and 17 cell lines. Syndecan-1 was immunohistochemically stained with a polyclonal antibody paraffin-embedded specimens; 84 cases out of 97 non-small (NSCLC) eight 18 small (SCLC) were positively stained. Simultaneously, epidermal growth-factor receptor (EGFR) stained; 47 NSCLC one case SCLC No significant correlation shown between EGFR ( P =0.68). mRNA detectable 16 lines nine 17. Eight had as well mRNA. PR-39 (1 μM) 80 pM transforming growth factor-β 1 (TGF-β ), did not increase expressions five We concluded that syndecan-1; however, protein correlate survival time patients.
