摘要: Abstract The growth of both Haemophilus influenzae and H. parainfluenzae was progressively inhibited in media containing increasing concentrations the iron chelator desferrioxamine. Iron restriction had little effect on outer-membrane (OM) protein profiles type b or non-typable although replacement haemin with protoporphyrin IX resulted induction an M r 73 000 strains. , however, responded to by inducing several new proteins range 70 86 000.
