摘要: Objective  To describe and evaluate a new experimental model for the simultaneous measurement of urethral (UP) arterial (AP) pressures in conscious rabbit, thereby avoiding interference anaesthesia which markedly reduces reflex activity tone smooth muscle. Materials methods  Female rabbits were anaesthetized catheters inserted into urethra, abdominal aorta, jugular vein bladder. After recovering from surgery, trained to remain static sling period 2 h, during UP AP recorded. The was validated short- long-term stability before effects drugs assessed; recorded up 60 min after drug/solvent administration assess short-term stability, assessed by comparing control periods between first fifth session month apart. Results  Over group, remained steady, whereas only decreased slightly. Recordings made five subsequent periods, with at least 3 days rest successive assessments, similar 1 month. During second phase, effect α1-adrenoceptor agonists on both evaluated characterize their functional uroselectivity. De-glymidodrine l-phenylephrine (0.1 mg/kg) administered intravenously; increased 18 cmH2O (146%) 21 cmH2O (173%), respectively, 22 mmHg (31%) 47 mmHg (63%), respectively. At 5 min administering drugs, higher 16 cmH2O (121%) de-glymidodrine, it had returned basal values l-phenylephrine. Conclusions  This conscious-animal allows absence anaesthesia. It provides useful means directly drug urogenital cardiovascular systems, its
