摘要: Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) is a main protein moiety in high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles. Generally, ApoA1 and HDL are considered as atheroprotective. In prooxidant inflammatory microenvironment the vicinity to atherosclerotic lesion, ApoA1/HDL subjected modification. The chemical modifications such oxidation, nitration, etc result altering native architecture of toward dysfunctionality abnormality. Neutrophil myeloperoxidase has prominent role this mechanism. Neo-epitopes could be formed then exposed that makes them immunogenic. Indeed, these epitopes may recognized by immune cells induce production proatherogenic ApoA1-specific IgG antibodies. These antibodies biologically relevant because they able react with Toll-like receptor (TLR)-2 TLR4 target variety pro-inflammatory responses. Epidemiological functional studies underline prognostic value self-antibodies for several cardiovascular diseases, including myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, severe carotid stenosis.
