摘要: Mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE) is a chronic neurological disorder affecting almost 40% of adult patients with epilepsy. Hippocampal sclerosis (HS) common histopathological abnormality found in MTLE. HS characterised by extensive neuronal loss different hippocampus sub-regions. In this study, we used laser microdissection-based microproteomics to determine the protein abundances regions and layers dentate gyrus (DG) an electric stimulation rodent model which displays classical damage similar that Our results indicate there are differences proteomic profiles (granule cell and molecular), as well regions, DG (ventral dorsal). We have identified new signalling pathways proteins present specific DG, such PARK7, RACK1, connexin 31/gap junction. also two major all regions: inflammation energy metabolism. Finally, our highlight utility high-throughput spatial-limited isolation tissues study complex disorders fully appreciate large biological heterogeneity cell populations within central nervous system.
