摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the fate of sex steroid hormones in their target tissues and interaction(s) with molecule(s) primary importance for physiological response(s). Sex steroids, particular androgens, are involved differentiation processes, especially irreversible determination organization secondary organs. Hormone activity on already differentiated organs concerns functional activity—secretion, mobility—and growth, which depend cell size number, an excess leading to hypertrophy hyperplasia. The effects generally not limited a single parameter responsive tissue but may affect development, secretion, replication automatic, coordinated manner. Many aspects response injected vivo have been studied, such as constitutive proteins, enzymes, phospholipids, nucleic acids. only vitro system specific is established involves progesterone utilizes cultured oviduct cells estrogenized chicken. Special emphasis has given idea that there classification binding proteins action at cellular level.
