摘要: The energy straggling of proton beams in solids has been experimentally investigated using the transmission technique and correcting for foil roughness effects. dependence on target atomic number Z2 was studied by measurements at 200 keV elements C, Al, Mn, Cu, Zn, Se, Ag, Sb, Au Bi. For most these no previous data are available to present. Additionally, Zn Au, Ω 10–200 range determined. At higher energies a good agreement with theoretical predictions found; however lower yield values than our measurements, specially case Al Au.
