摘要: Inequities in higher education persist, as revealed both by statistical indicators and continuing reports women students faculty that the academic environment itself is alienating. Our review of research on settings, including classroom interaction patterns among between females males, leads us to identify structure talk one reason many find inhospitable. The norms are more closely aligned with typical male than female patterns. We suggest can exist classrooms side‐by‐side, important resources for males. conclude suggestions teaching research.
