摘要: A human eosinophilic leukemia cell line, designated as EoL, was established from the peripheral blood of a patient with Philadelphia chromosome-negative (EL). The EoL line grows in single suspension doubling time 48 hours for about one year. reactivity these cells tested panel monoclonal antibodies; they were found to express surface IA antigen, myeloid antigen (IF10, MY9) and membrane receptors interleukin 2 (IL-2, Tac antigen). Under standard culture conditions, small percentage having more typical characteristics present. These had cytoplasmic granules positive Luxol-fast-blue eosinophil peroxidase. conditions induce maturation cells, such alkaline medium or addition dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), frequency features increased 40%. In addition, cytogenetic studies showed that cultured original leukemic blasts presented similar chromosome abnormalities. seems be unique committed lineage can provide useful vitro model study malignant properties.
