摘要: Radial glia play an essential role in the generation of cerebral cortex through their function as neuronal precursors and migration guides. A molecular marker for radial developing central nervous system is brain lipid-binding protein (BLBP). To generate mouse models visualization study glia, we expressed EGFP, EYFP, or dsRed2 transgenic mice under control BLBP promoter. In these lines, fluorescent expression restricted to embryonic astrocytes adult brain. Electroporation transgenes into also resulted glia-specific transgene expression. These promoter driven organotypic slices expressing different markers a manner will be useful tools further differentiation distinct regions CNS.
