摘要: Sensory hair cells of the inner ear are mechanoelectric transducers sound and head motion. In mammals, damage to sensory leads hearing or balance deficits. Nonmammalian vertebrates such as birds can regenerate after injury. a previous study, we characterized transcription factor gene expression during chicken cell regeneration. those studies, laser microbeam ototoxic antibiotics were used epithelia (SE). The current study focused on 27 genes that upregulated in regenerating SEs compared untreated study. Those knocked down by siRNA determine their requirement for supporting proliferation measure resulting changes larger network expression. We identified 11 necessary also novel interactive relationships between many them. Defined components WNT, PAX, AP1 pathways shown be required proliferation. These intersect WNT4, which is Among genes, CCAAT enhancer binding protein, CEBPG, acts downstream Jun Kinase JUND pathway. WNT coreceptor LRP5 does BTAF1. Both these This first large-scale screen its type suggests an important intersection pathway, PAX signaling regulation
