摘要: I. Introduction THE insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) and their receptors binding proteins constitute a family of cellular modulators that play essential roles in the regulation development. The IGF ligands include three structurally related peptides: insulin, IGF-I, IGF-II. Unlike IGF-I IGF-II are expressed ubiquitously, albeit highly regulated manner (see reviews Refs. 1-5). biological functions IGFs mediated by transmembrane receptors, which includes IGF-II/mannose-6-phosphate (M-6-P) receptors.
