摘要: Abstract High-resolution, single-slice, high spatial and spectral resolution (HiSS) breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) provides improved lesion conspicuity, margin definition internal definition, as compared to conventional clinical MRI — thus may provide better characterization increase specificity. Volumetric HiSS is highly desirable, but was considered be time-prohibitive. Specifically, the concern that faster acquisition times necessitating a lower could compromise established advantages of imaging. In this pilot study, we demonstrate for first time fast, clinically practical, HiSS-based sequence achieves full unilateral coverage, while preserving essential qualities full-spectral We imaged five patients varying sizes at 1.5 T, with acquisitions performed after standard protocol, lasting an average 8.5 min. Maximum intensity projection (MIP) images data were constructed MIPs images. Single-slice through three lesions also compared. achieved fat suppression than fat-saturated (fat signal SNR reduced by 50% in images) well increased assessed qualitatively experienced radiologist. Thus, show volumetric can conserve single-slice further technical development desirable.
