摘要: Rationale and Objectives The aims of this study were to evaluate high spectral spatial resolution (HiSS) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the diagnosis breast cancer without injection contrast media by comparing performance precontrast HiSS images that conventional contrast-enhanced, fat-suppressed, T1-weighted on basis image quality in task classifying benign malignant lesions. Materials Methods Ten 44 lesions imaged at 1.5 T with (precontrast administration) fat-suppressed (3–10 minutes after administration). This set 108 images, randomization, was evaluated three experienced radiologists blinded technique. Breast Imaging Reporting Data System morphologic criteria (lesion shape, lesion margin, internal signal intensity pattern) final assessment used measure reader performance. Image boundary delineation fat suppression. An overall probability malignancy assigned each separately. Results On suppression, scored similarly postcontrast MRI. versus separation, there no statistically significant difference receiver-operating characteristic between MRI, met a reasonable noninferiority condition. Conclusions Precontrast is promising approach showing morphology blooming other artifacts caused agents. could be guide subsequent dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI scans maximize temporal suspicious regions. agent may particularly important patients risk contrast-induced nephrogenic systemic fibrosis or allergic reactions.
