摘要: Forest policymakers and managers have long sought ways to evaluate the capability of forest landscapes jointly produce timber, habitat, other ecosystem services in response management. Currently, carbon is particular interest as policies for increasing storage on federal lands are being proposed. However, a challenge joint production analysis management adequately representing ecological conditions processes that influence relationships. We used simulation models vegetation structure, sector carbon, potential wildlife habitat characterize landscape-level possibilities storage, timber harvest, seven species across range regimes.
