摘要: Chronic social isolation (SI)-reared mice exhibit aggressive and depressive-like behaviors. However, the pathophysiological changes caused by chronic SI remain unclear. The hypothalamus amygdala have been suggested to be associated with stress of SI. In addition serotonin 3 (5-HT3) receptors, AMPA receptors also involved in behavior symptoms animals. Therefore, we examined whether affects 5-HT3 receptor expression levels these regions. A Western blot analysis revealed that after four weeks SI, exhibited up-regulated subunit (GluR1, GluR2) protein down-regulated hypothalamic levels. AMPA/kainate antagonist NBQX (10 mg/kg; i.p.) attenuated SI-induced but not behavior. Intra-amygdalar infusions selective agonist (S)-AMPA μM) induced despair-like behavior, sucrose preference or reared (naive mice). Alternatively, treatment SR57227A (3.0 decreased aggression addition, intra-hypothalamic ondansetron (3 did trigger naive mice; however, administration (0.3 increased two-week mice, which rarely Moreover, affect mice. These results suggest up-regulation GluR1 GluR2 subunits amygdalar region down-regulation proteins level are effect -induced symptoms.
