摘要: Using an integrated model of international expansion, this study develops separate rankings 143 potential target countries for United States-based and Australia-based franchise firms. Based on assessment that takes into account market opportunity, risks, distance, the ranks according to their opportunity/risk profiles. The results suggest Australian firms assign overwhelming importance distance in expansion activities actual practice, contradicting claims opportunity is paramount determinant expansion.
