摘要: Plasma glucose and glucagon responses to standard meals containing carbohydrate, fat, protein as in normal diets were studied 12 subjects with insulin-dependent diabetes subjects. Diabetics had two three times greater than did Fifteen units of insulin injection not normalize these excessive responses, although postprandial hyperglycemia was reduced. Infusion somatostatin at a dosage 500 mug/hr prevented diminished by 60%. The combination caused progressive fall plasma levels despite meal ingestion. Somatostatin insulin, administered subcutaneously the same syringe, also abolished hyperglycemia. These studies indicate that secretion participates genesis diabetic Somatostatin, an inhibitor secretion, may thus prove useful adjunct treatment mellitus.
