摘要: Neosporosis, caused by the apicomplexan protozoan Neospora caninum, is a disease which affects wide range of mammalian hosts (mainly cattle and dogs). N. caninum infection considered major cause livestock abortions worldwide, therefore responsible for great losses in industry. Because there are no effective treatments or vaccines, diagnosis essential pathogen control. Studies mechanisms pathogenesis have led to identification new antigens, including NcSRS2, NcSAG1, Ncp40, NcSUB1, NcMIC10, NcGRAs; variety molecular immunological assays, based on these molecules, been proposed detect tissues serum samples. We report advances achieved last five years neosporosis control, diagnostic tests.
